Mark R. Keller
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Keller has over 38 years of commercial real estate experience and has developed, acquired and managed as an owner over US$7 billion in real estate investments. Prior to founding Edge, Mr. Keller was a co-founder, Chief Executive Officer and Trustee of Republic Property Trust, a NYSE publicly-traded real estate investment trust with an office building portfolio valued in excess of US$1 billion. Mr. Keller merged Republic Property Trust with Liberty Property Trust in 2007. Mr. Keller also co-founded the RKB Washington Property Fund, an office property fund that acquired over 2 million square feet, and served as its Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Keller holds a Master of Science degree in Real Estate and Urban Development from American University and a Bachelor of Science degree from George Mason University, where he majored in Business and Finance.
Gary R. Siegel
President and General Counsel
Mr. Siegel is an experienced business lawyer and manager with primary expertise in planning, structuring and negotiating real estate transactions with emphasis on financing, acquisition, due diligence, asset management, operations, leasing and disposition of properties, and the restructuring and workout of problem properties and loans. Prior to founding Edge, Mr. Siegel was the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of Republic Property Trust, a NYSE publicly-traded real estate investment trust with an office portfolio valued over US$1 billion consisting of 25 office properties. Mr. Siegel was also the General Counsel of RKB Washington Property Fund.
Mr. Siegel attended the University of Virginia, School of Law, where he was a Senior Editor of the Virginia Law Review and obtained his Juris Doctor (Order of the Coif) in 1984. Mr. Siegel is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia and the State of Maryland. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College (Summa cum laude) in 1981 where he majored in Business Management with concentrations in Accounting and Finance.
Tiffany D. Sanders
Executive Vice President and Deputy General Counsel
Ms. Sanders is a seasoned transactional attorney with over 10 years of experience managing trophy commercial real estate investments. Prior to joining Edge, Ms. Sanders was an associate at Baker & McKenzie LLP where she represented clients in connection with corporate compliance, securities offerings, corporate reorganizations and private equity transactions. Ms. Sanders served as a Vice President with Republic Property Trust where she managed real estate investments and operations and served under the General Counsel.
Ms. Sanders attended the George Mason University School of Law, where she obtained her Juris Doctor degree. She received her Master of Arts degree with a focus on Foreign Service from Georgetown University and Bachelor of Sciences degree in Business Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Ms. Sanders is admitted to practice law in the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia. She is a licensed real estate broker in the state of New York and Washington, D.C. She is a member of the American Bar Association and the Maryland Bar Association.
Michael C. Jones
Executive Vice President
Mr. Jones has over twenty-five years of experience in various facets of commercial real estate and has participated in transactions totaling over 10 million square feet. Prior to joining Edge, Mr. Jones served as Vice President and City Manager at Liberty Property Trust, a NYSE publicly traded real estate investment trust. At Liberty, Mr. Jones oversaw all operations for its Washington, DC and Northern Virginia platforms, which consisted of 26 buildings in a portfolio valued at over $1 billion.
Mr. Jones was responsible for profit and loss, leasing, marketing, acquisitions, asset management, property management, construction, personnel, managing the relationship with JV partners, and preparation and presentation of annual business plans to the CEO. Mr. Jones holds a Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Economics from Boston College and a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration on Finance from the Pennsylvania State University. He is a Member and former Board Member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and a Member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
Michael Chan
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Chan has over 25 years of experience in finance and accounting. Prior to joining Edge, Mr. Chan served as Senior Vice President of Finance of Transwestern Commercial Services, a national commercial real estate services company, overseeing financial activity of approximately 15 million square feet of commercial real estate for various clients including Morgan Stanley, AEW Investment Advisors, John Hopkins University, and other institutional clients. Mr. Chan has also served in various senior executive roles at Barnes & Noble, Borders Group, US Airways and JP Morgan Chase (formerly Manufacturers Hanover). Mr. Chan has successfully completed IPOs and other financings. Mr. Chan has extensive experience in public accounting, SEC reporting, and other regulatory and legal structures.
Mr. Chan is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelors of Business majoring in Accounting from State University of New York. Mr. Chan is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).
Geoff Azaroff
Senior Vice President of Construction Services
Geoff Azaroff brings over thirty-five years of experience designing and building large-scale mixed use commercial projects ranging in project size from $4 million to $100 million. Mr. Azaroff’s past projects include the design and oversight of an over three million square feet mixed-use multi-phased project known as the Portals in Southwest Washington, D.C.; Republic Square in Capitol Hill, Washington, D.C.; Charles E. Smith corporate headquarters in Crystal City, Virginia; the World Cup at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C.; and numerous large-scale office building for clients with specific requirements including the Federal Communications Commission and a county forensic crime lab.
Prior to joining Edge, Mr. Azaroff founded and was a principal of Artisan Partners Construction Services which provides construction management and owner representation services to a number of varied clients including business owners, corporations, country clubs, developers, hotels, schools, religious institutions, and trade associations. Mr. Azaroff responsibilities included overseeing projects through all phases of development, design, and construction.
Mr. Azaroff has an Masters degree in Engineering Management from Catholic University and a Bachelors degree. in Civil Engineering from Rutgers University.
Emily W. Rowland
Vice President of Property Services
Ms. Rowland has more than 12 years of property management experience in all aspects of overseeing significant office assets. Prior to joining Edge, Ms. Rowland managed an office portfolio spanning over a million square feet, including 412,000 square feet of new construction, on behalf of CBRE, Inc. Asset Services in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining CBRE’s D.C. office, Ms. Rowland worked for a CB Richard Ellis affiliate office in Columbia, South Carolina where she spent five years as a leasing and sales associate specializing in Landlord representation of office assets.
Ms. Rowland has a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Wofford College and has various certifications including CCIM, CPM and LEED Green Associate designations. She is also a licensed real estate salesperson in the District of Columbia.
Brandon C. Rondell
Vice President of Accounting
Mr. Rondell has over 8 years of experience in finance and accounting, concentrating on commercial, retail and residential real estate services. Prior to joining Edge, Mr. Rondell held senior positions at Madison Marquette and Westfield with portfolios of retail assets in the Los Angeles and Washington D.C Metro areas.
Mr. Rondell has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Michael Clarke Sr.
General Manager
Michael Clarke, Sr. currently serves as a General Manager with Edge Funds, where he is responsible for the oversight of the financial, operational and capital management of 4 New York Plaza. A 1,100,000-sq.-ft. commercial office building in the heart of lower Manhattan.
For nearly three decades, Michael has served a variety of roles at 4 New York Plaza. He joined Edge Funds in July of 2016, bringing more than 35 years of real estate operational experience to his role.
Ness Tchaikowitz
General Manager
Mr. Tchaikowitz has over 10 years of commercial real estate operational and transactional experience. Prior to joining Edge, Mr. Tchaikowitz served as Vice President and General Manager at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL). While at JLL, Mr. Tchaikowitz managed 320 Park Avenue and 866 United Nations Plaza in New York City, both Class A commercial office buildings comprising 700,000+ square feet and 450,000+ square feet respectively.
Mr. Tchaikowitz received a Master of Science degree in Real Estate from New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate. Additionally, Mr. Tchaikowitz received his Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School with an emphasis in Environmental Law. He is admitted to practice law in the State of New York. Mr. Tchaikowitz obtained a Bachelor of Arts in both History and Philosophy/Politics/Law from Binghamton University, State University of New York.
Steven Siegel
Associate General Counsel
Steven Siegel currently serves as Associate General Counsel. Prior to joining Edge, Mr. Siegel was an associate at Chadbourne & Parke LLP where he represented clients in connection with insurance and reinsurance coverage and litigation. Prior to joining Chadbourne, Mr. Siegel was a staff attorney at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, where he represented clients in connection with insurance coverage, recovery and litigation.
Mr. Siegel attended the George Washington University Law School, where he obtained his Juris Doctor. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Tulane University. Mr. Siegel is admitted to practice law in the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia.
